'BALLOONING INTO THE SUNSET IN TRIM, CO. MEATH'

The old ruin in this shot is called 'The Yellow Steeple'. It takes its name from the golden colour of the stonework at sunset.  The steeple was originally part of the 13th century St. Mary's Augustinian Abbey. The steeple itself dates from 1368 and was used as a watchtower and a place of refuge.
